Time after Time

I've always been a huge fan of the watch. A good watch can set off your accessories and be a perfect finishing touch for an outfit. That being said I think that an amazing clock in a space can also set an interior apart. Check out a few of these incredible clocks by Karlsson Klocks. Can we say Ah-MA-ZING :)

Light up My Life

Every project I've worked on since I was in school has always had three important features:
1.Clean lines
2. Amazing artwork
3. Lighting
After working on several projects I really began to notice the importance of #3 on the list : Lighting. Not only is it a functional  and fundamental element but if you use the right fixture it can completely transform your space.
Here are few few vintage and new fixtures that are a cut above the rest!

Decades of Style

Thanks to my new favorite online vintage store Capmbell's Loft, I found these amazing interior images from the 60's and 70's. They're all so transcendent and contemporary that personally I can't believe that they aren't present day images, but that's just me!

Inspire me

I've been insanely in inspired by the Philadelphia Collection events this week. Between the fashion shows and the people watching during the parties I realized how drastically fashion effects interior design and vis-versa. There are so many similarities in color, patterns and textures that it really is hard to tell what came; first the chicken or the egg. In saying that, I mean who inspired what: Has the pantone color of the year "Honey Suckle" inspired all of the jewel tone frocks I've seen so much of walking the runways and flocking into parties? Or did those bright hues strike cord with the powers that be in the interior design world?
So, I'll now turn the question over to you: Do you  think the fashion world has a huge impact on the interior design world?

Either way, whatever you decide remember to have fun with your wardrobe choices and spaces!

Animal House

I've always been a huge animal lover. Unfortunately because of my schedule I've never been able to have pet of my own (Sad face).  Luckily about 90% of my clients have wonderful fur babies that I can visit every time we meet. For most people their pets are a huge part of their family and it's very important to me that when designing I don't neglect that fact. Until recently finding beds, cages and scratching posts that didn't make your living room look like PetsMart posed a bit of a challenge.
However being the researching maven that I am; I was up to the challenge. I was able to find these chic, affordable and fabulous pet accessories.
Who says having a pet means ugly metal cages and beds that don't match anything? Not this girl!
So whether you have a feline, canine or canary check out a few chic pet products that are ideal for any home.

During these scorching summer months between the BBQ,  garden parties, camp-outs and pool lounging you're probably going to be spending as much time outside as you do inside. So why shouldn't your yard be as fabulous as you living room? Here are a few chairs to jazz up your outdoor space.
